Main Responsibilities:
- Design 2D and create comprehensive sketches for all garment models, fabric selection, and production.
- 3D design (if experienced and skilled).
- Participate in development meetings, pre-deployment comments meetings with MD & QC.
- Research documents, record customer comments, or proposed changes.
- Design according to documents, BOM, Sketch, specification sheets.
- Adjust samples for shrinkage, etc.
- Size grading according to document specifications, detailed sample statistics.
- Create model diagrams (as required).
- Print samples, transfer physical samples for inspection.
- Adjust samples according to comments (after meetings and agreement on key points with MD).
- Report locking specifications, thread loops for MD to place orders.
- Resolve issues arising during sample making and production.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- College degree or higher (candidates graduating from universities specialized in garment industry are preferred).
- Experience in design for at least 3 years.
- Necessary Skills:
- Understanding of design, familiarity with sketches, ability to control all details of a product.
- Proficient in using design software and Lectra pattern-making software.
- Ability to use English for the garment industry.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel.
- Proactive, enthusiastic about work.
